Former Miss Earth Hungary 2009, Korinna Kocsis, competed again at Miss Hungary contest. Showing a great improvement, it was not unexpected that she would be the favorite for the title. However, the end of the history was shocking:
Korinna was announced as Miss Intercontinental Hungary 2013 (2nd runner-up) and when called to receive her crown, she took the microphone and announced that she was rejecting the title.
Korinna was replaced by Brigitta Tímár, therefore, Miss Hungary Intercontinental 2013:
